Nuba Relief, Rehabilitation and Development Organisation (NRRDO) is an indigenous Sudanese non-governmental and non-profit organization. Established in 1993, is it governed by a General Assembly with members drawn from all parts of the Nuba community. It’s guiding vision, now as ever, is of a just, peaceful, equitable and developed society where the people of Nuba can lead a dignified life.
NRRDO carried out various projects that includes: Emergency life saving intervensions, Education, Food security and livelihood, Gender and women, Peace building and Governance, and , HIV/AIDS.
The organization is legally registered by SRRA , Sudan, Kenya NGOs bureau and by South Sudan Ministry of Justice and NGO Board.
The organization currently is headed by the female executive director accountable to the board of directors. The board of directors comprised of highly skilled members in the development field. The organization also has expat program Manager and Finance head, with qualified professional of sector coordinators, in total NRRDO has more than 50 permanent staff and more than 50 volunteers. NRRDO has annual donor’s round table, which is instrumental to evaluate its performance and adjust its direction.
